When it comes to family travel, all airline and hotel loyalty programs are not created equal. Some programs have benefits befitting solo or business travelers, while others provide family-friendly perks like free checked bags for your travel party, complimentary breakfast and discounts for children.

If you are a parent, grandparent or caregiver, you can read TPG’s full analysis of the best airline loyalty and hotel loyalty programs for families, but let’s take a look at a few highlights.

In terms of hotels, Hilton Honors earns top billing for guaranteed connecting rooms and several brands with free breakfast. Together, these benefits could save you hundreds of dollars over the course of your vacation. We also love World of Hyatt for its convenient points pooling and World of Hyatt Globalist benefits. Marriott Bonvoy offers convenient locations near major theme parks and other popular attractions.
