Born from Daniel Daou's desire to explore the boldest expressions of Paso's diverse terroir, Unbound blends varietals that originate from distinct Old-World regions—Petite Sirah from France, Tempranillo from Spain, and Tannat from Madiran. In these regions, strict tradition dictates which varietals are typically blended, often keeping these grapes separate.
By combining them, Daniel defied convention, creating a wine that is "unbound" by Old-World rules and reflecting DAOU's commitment to pushing limits.
