Another year, another visit to Mystic. I love this time of year, the crowds are low, restaurants are upping their game with special offerings and the lights are still up around town. See some fantastic lights at the Olde Mistick Village, Starry Lights in Westerly/Pawcatuck and the Lobster Trap Tree is still up in Stonington! Our shops are open and the heat is on, come visit!

Right around the corner from Mystic are the towns of Pawcatuck and Westerly. The exhibit meanders between the two. The Starry Light exhibit will be up till Jan. 31. Incredible illuminated star sculptures. Thats Jill's macrame star pictured above. Enjoy thousands of white lights, shooting stars in the trees and a winter wonderland perfect for family photos. Pawcatuck/Westerly is beautiful this time of year. If you are visiting Mystic, take the 15 minute drive to walk around this village area. There are lots of amazing restaurants to grab a bite to eat. Start at Donahue Park and make your way across the Pawcatuck River to Wilcox Park.

The Holiday Lights Spectacular is at Olde Mistick Village! This enchanting event, featuring the largest holiday light display in southern New England, is FREE and runs through the end of January 2025. With over half a million twinkling lights illuminating the charming square of shops and restaurants, it’s the perfect destination for families and holiday lovers alike. Enjoy free parking and stroll through the Village with your leashed pet, even after stores and restaurants close.
